BrightHouse profits surge

BrightHouse is one of the few companies to flourish under the prevailing global market conditions. The retail company recorded a 60% increase in pre-tax profits (up to £20.1 million) for the year ending on the 31st of March 2008. In addition, BrightHouse Sales rose by 12.7% to £145.9 million. Bad debt was also reduced to 5.74% from 6.54%.

BrightHouse pushes South as sales surge

As the BrightHouse retail chain goes from strength to strength in a time when many other retailers are anxiously counting their customers, it plans to expand its community reach into the south of England. BrightHouse will have opened an impressive 25 new stores across the UK by the end of this year, and plans to open another 30-40 stores in 2009.
