As part of our credit management process we spend time talking to our customers face-to-face. We have introduced more systematic approaches to our credit screening processes. A tailored scorecard is used in conjunction with information supplied by the customer and a credit reference agency. In addition we undertake fraud checks and electronic identification.
When a customer with an established payment record wishes to acquire more products, we will determine an individual credit limit by reviewing and updating their income and expenditure. This enhanced scrutiny takes into account affordability, BrightHouse payment history and bespoke company lending rules.
