Community involvement is part of the BrightHouse DNA and we actively support the NSPCC, Retail Trust and SportsAid. It's important to us to give something back to the communities we serve.
We are proud to have been associated with the NSPCC and its services, including ChildLine, the free confidential helpline and online service for children and young people, since January 2010. The NSPCC is the only charity focused on ending child cruelty across the UK. For more than 125 years, the NSPCC has helped children and families directly through its local services, brought immediate support through its national helplines, including ChildLine, and provided training and support to people who work with children, along with much more.
In the four years of our relationship with the NSPCC, we have raised £456,000. Our colleagues enthusiastically donate their time and energy carrying out fundraising activities such as the Ten Tors Challenge, London Marathon, Great North Run, Isle of Wight Sailing Challenge as well as inter-regional and local events. We also appreciate the generous donations given by our customers to the NSPCC, which help to support its services including ChildLine.
Leo McKee, CEO of BrightHouse said "I am delighted that BrightHouse have raised over £456,000 for NSPCC to date. This is such a worthwhile cause. I feel honoured to be a part of such an achievement. I would like to personally thank all those who have been involved for helping to put an end to child cruelty.”
Mark Wood, Chairman of the NSPCC commented:
“The enthusiasm, imagination and energy BrightHouse and its staff show towards raising funds for the NSPCC is inspirational. Across all levels in the organisation, from senior management to those working in store, BrightHouse actively supports the NSPCC’s goal to end cruelty to children. Additionally, many NSPCC locations are equipped with items generously donated by BrightHouse.”
BrightHouse supports Retail Trust, the only charity dedicated to the three million retail employees across the UK. Retail Trust exists to support Retail to give care for all involved ...... Yesterday ....... Today ........ Tomorrow.
Richard Boland, CEO of Retail Trust said,
“All our colleagues at BrightHouse help us to assist those in greatest need. Their continuing energy and patronage enables us to grow the support and services we provide. We are eternally grateful to all our friends at BrightHouse.”
